Summary

In this chapter, we took a deeper look into what Ethernet is, and how it plays a vital role in networking. Both the LLC and the MAC sublayers were discussed, giving an overview of the responsibilities they each have within the network.

In the next chapter, we will be covering IPv4 and IPv6 in detail with subnetting.
